Anti corrosion steel pipe refers to a steel pipeline that has been processed and treated with anti-corrosion technology to effectively prevent or slow down the occurrence of chemical or electrochemical reactions and corrosion during transportation and use. Anti corrosion steel pipe base materials include spiral pipes, straight seam pipes, seamless pipes, etc., which are widely used in pipeline engineering fields such as long-distance water transportation, petroleum, chemical, natural gas, heat, sewage treatment, water sources, bridges, steel structures, and marine water transportation pile driving in China. 
Introduction to the characteristics of TPEP anti-corrosion coating for steel pipes: 
The improved performance of TPEP coating is mainly due to its organic combination of bottom epoxy powder, middle adhesive layer, and outer polyethylene layer, which gives the coating the advantages of fusion bonded epoxy powder (FBE) coating and polyethylene coating. Fusion bonded epoxy forms ionic bonds and physical interlocking forces with activated ions on the surface of steel pipes through its active groups, enabling it to firmly adhere to the metal substrate surface. The copolymer adhesive prepared by modifying polyethylene not only has the ability to form covalent bonds (ester bonds) with fusion bonded epoxy through chemical reactions, but also disrupts the electronic dipole balance of polyethylene material through grafting modification, enhancing the intermolecular strength between fusion bonded epoxy and copolymer molecules, effectively improving the interfacial bonding strength between the two. 
The advantages of TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes produced by our company are:

8. The entire production process is continuously mechanized, ensuring stable product quality and facilitating comprehensive quality control; 
9. All raw materials for the production of polyethylene coated steel pipes are produced by large enterprises, with reliable sources and guaranteed quality; 
10. Long service life, theoretically it can be used for more than 50 years. 
TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe product characteristics: 
1. TPEP anti-corrosion is the most advanced anti-corrosion technology in China and even abroad, with a service life of over 50 years. The external 3PE anti-corrosion coating has a history of nearly 70 years, and the internal coating is a hot-melt epoxy powder coating, which has also been in use for 50 years. 
2. The inner wall is smooth, with a roughness of 0.0081-0.0091 (tested by the Testing Center of the Chinese Academy of Water Resources) and low head loss. The diameter of the medium can be reduced by one level when conveying the same flow rate. 
3. Strong adaptability to terrain. Steel pipes have strong flexibility. 
4. Easy to install, safe and reliable. The length of a single pipe can reach 12 meters, with the connection port reduced by half. 
5. The inner wall is smooth and does not scale, meeting the requirements of food grade. 
Development of TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes: 
TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes have undergone four upgrades and replacements in China. The earliest one was introduced from Japan in the 1980s with a one-time vulcanization bed impregnation film-forming process, which used modified polyethylene for anti-corrosion. Due to the adhesion problem between polyethylene and steel pipes, it gradually developed to be coated with epoxy resin powder inside and outside. However, the outer wall epoxy resin coating is brittle and not resistant to bumps. Later, it developed into the third generation of inner wall epoxy outer wall polyethylene anti-corrosion, but there are still adhesion problems when single-layer polyethylene is directly combined with steel pipes, and bumps are inevitable during construction. Finally, it was upgraded to the current fourth generation anti-corrosion - external 3PE anti-corrosion and internal fusion bonded epoxy powder anti-corrosion. The 3PE anti-corrosion layer is a whole formed by synchronously winding or extruding fusion bonded epoxy powder (FBE) as the bottom layer, adhesive as the middle layer, and extruded polyethylene as the outer protective layer. It has excellent insulation performance and resistance to mechanical damage, and has advantages over single-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion.
